Sophie Snider is a recent graduate of the BFA Musical Theater program at Syracuse University (Summa Cum Laude). A small town girl who leads with her inner Leo, which landed her right in the greatest city in the world: Syracuse, New York. (No hard feelings Cuse, Orange forever!)

Originally from Mount Airy, Maryland, she is an alum of the Baltimore School for the Arts where she studied acting. It shaped her perspective and approach as a performer, and was her green light to pursue theatre for a living. Now a fresh face to New York City, where she’s dreamed of living since her visit to the American Girl doll store at the age of ten. It was that serious. A lover of live music, natural hair, antique browsing with an iced latte in hand, and dressing up with nowhere to go.

Recently, she closed out her time at Syracuse in Disney’s Frozen: the Broadway Musical at Syracuse Stage. Last summer she made her professional principal debut as Julia Sullivan in The Wedding Singer at Cortland Reperatory Theatre. Other favorite credits include Bernarda Alba (Adela), Hedda Gabler (Thea) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Ensemble).
